Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange became a demutualised exchange and was re-named Bursa Malaysia in 2004. It consists of a Main Board, a Second Board and MESDAQ with total market capitalization of MYR700 billion (US$189 billion).
The main index for Bursa Malaysia is Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI).
Yes, it is quite bewildering, their profits is quite a small percentage of turnover. They have to manage each and every contract well and make sure they make a reasonable margin.
The other thing to look for is their expense and remuneration of executives!! They also have to bear in mind that the board and management have a great duty to add to shareholders value.
If they do not perform this year, make a lot of noise at the AGM and then throw out the shares, lah. Ha ha_–:))
